Company rescue and schemes of arrangement

Our team has considerable experience in assisting with providing innovative and practical advice where a client is seeking to try and pursue corporate rescue by way of a creditor-led settlement or restructuring or via the sale of a struggling (but viable) business as a going concern. For example, our team has provided advice regarding the use of provisional liquidation and/or use of letters of request.

We are also known for our experience in acting in schemes of arrangement, and we have acted on a number of previous occasions in the Isle of Man High Court in successfully obtaining an order to sanction a scheme of arrangement under the Companies Act 2006.
