DQ has been active this Mental Health Awareness Week, demonstrating its ongoing dedication to employee wellbeing.
As part of its commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment, DQ has organised a series of engaging activities aimed at promoting mental health awareness and encouraging staff to prioritise their wellbeing.
One of the highlights of the week was a “walk and talk” session led by David Killip from IOM Culture Tours, where staff had the opportunity to explore the history of Douglas, literally stepping through the city’s past. This refreshing activity provided team members with a chance to unwind outside the office while immersing themselves in the rich heritage of the community they work in.
Additionally, the firm hosted a breakfast grazing table courtesy of Prep Fresh, offering an array of delectable treats including pastries, cakes, and fresh fruit. This communal breakfast not only provided a delicious start to the day but also encouraged staff to connect with one another, fostering a sense of camaraderie and support within the team.
Mark Dougherty, Managing Director, said: “At DQ, we recognise that our greatest asset is our people and we are committed to ensuring that the wellbeing of our team remains a top priority. By actively promoting initiatives like Mental Health Awareness Week, we strive to create an environment where every team member feels supported and valued.”
