Every few weeks, one member of our specialist team will be dealing with a particular stage of the life cycle of a trust, starting from creation all the way to termination. On the way, we’ll be dealing with trustees’ duties, changes in trusteeship, trust distributions and beneficiaries’ request for information.
The series is a helpful reminder to trust practitioners of the common issues that arise and the decisions that trustees are faced with. Each article is intended to serve as a useful crib sheet setting out, in summary form, the issues that arise, the factors that trustees need to take into account before taking a decision and the risks that trustees may face at the various stages of a trust’s life.
The series is for information purposes only and should you require advice or any further information on any of the issues arising in the series or otherwise in relation to trusts, please contact us.
