This is a well-deserved promotion for Tara who is making a name for herself acting on high profile and high value commercial litigation, banking disputes and insolvency matters. She appears regularly before the Isle of Man High Court of Justice and the Staff of Government Division.
Tara continues to act, as an integral member of the team, for the Liquidator of various companies within the Louis Group on one of the most complex insolvencies in the Isle of Man. She additionally recently co-authored the inaugural Isle of Man chapter of Getting the Deal Through: Restructuring & Insolvency.
Tara’s practice also includes contentious trust matters, where she is recognised by leading legal directory Legal 500 as a ‘Next Generation’ lawyer. Her employment law practice is expanding, working with Leanne McKeown as part of DQ’s top ranked team. She co-authored The International Comparative Legal Guide to Employment and Labour Law 2017. Clients have described Tara as “innovative and commercially minded” and an “excellent courtroom advocate”.
