The conference was hosted by Belfast firm, Elliot Duffy Garrett and it provided an ideal opportunity for the representatives of the European TAGLaw member law firms to meet for first time or continue to build on existing relationships. Belfast was a wonderful host city with its fascinating and colourful history and a tour of its Crumlin Road jail proving of great interest to all of the delegates.
The conference enabled delegates to exchange ideas and important developments in their various jurisdictions and to discuss Brexit and its potential impact regionally.
DQ continues to ensure that it is represented at as many TAGLaw events as possible and in May 2016, directors Tom Maher and Mark Dougherty will be attending the Elite Tag Alliances Spring International Conference in Lisbon, Portugal, together with head of regulatory and compliance services, Sinead O’Connor. Sinead and Tom will be presenting at the conference on the subject of ‘Digital Currencies Out of the Shadows and into the Spotlight.
